Experience: I have been a professional baker for over 8 years and have worked in a wide variety of kitchens, doing everything from shaping butter blocks and washing dishes to actually managing a staff and developing a menu.

I was raised in reform Judaism and went through both the bar-mitzvah and confirmation process. I also taught Hebrew school and worked at Jewish summer camp.

I am trans/non-binary. I am out in the world and at work, and am familiar with navigating the complications that come with that. I also got top surgery last year and am familiar with the process.

Especially interested in: I love to write about family—chosen and otherwise—and other platonic relationships. I love an excuse to write time travel or dimension-crossing stuff that shoves characters together who wouldn't know each other in this way otherwise. I tend to write about grief and hope in pretty equal measure, and often together. I love an AU.

I like to write gen, particularly in Star Wars, where I love to get geeky about worldbuilding. I also enjoy an action scene! In SHL, I often have ambient Wenzhou vibes but this isn't a necessity. In all three fandoms, I'm fairly multiship, like rarepairs, and also enjoy a good OT3. I am obsessed with the JBY&?/?ZZS situation.

Unwilling to address: For Word of Honor, I'm a show canon-only writer, which usually includes yeeting Qi Ye backstory in favor of extrapolating the past from what's said in the show. For Qi Ye, I am not comfortable working on Nanjiang worldbuilding. For both, no Yunxu (Jiuxiao/ZZS) for me.

For Star Wars, I'm not willing to go super critical of the Jedi. No Luke/Leia, Sabine/Ezra, Kanan/any of the younger members of the Ghost.

Notes: I'm not much of a ship writer; I can certainly try, but you're much more likely to get the pairing as a possibility or an established relationship rather than a focused romance arc.
