Subtype(s): Got a fic? Want a playlist? I got you! I can make a playlist available via ao3 and/or Spotify with cover art to your fic and post it to ao3! It can be chapter by chapter or more than one song per chapter. We work together so I can find you songs in any genre. Don’t like one, I’ll find another. Have an idea for one, let’s fit it in! Sometimes you need/want a playlist to inspire you or to listen along with while you read.

Especially interested in: I’m pretty open to anything I’m familiar with though my main fandoms are generally YA. I do dabble in Supernatural (it can be scary but I’m old enough now to watch it and not get too scared). I have seen all the Buffy and Angel episodes many times, but haven’t read any of the comics. If you want to get an idea of my current playlist work, feel free check out my ao3 (DarayFlair). My ao3 has a pretty extensive list of my fandoms, but pretty much the big ones are: Chronicles of Nick, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Divergent, House of Night, Twilight, Shadowhunters and have read/watched all the Tolkien things. I’m happy to playlist canon or an AU for fandoms or an original work too. I’m open to partying, darker fic, mental health topics, poly, m/m, f/f, and m/f, All the friendship and/or found family fic are welcome! I do love exploring character development or their reactions to other characters. Not sure if I’d cover that niche YA fandom or fantasy or urban fantasy fandom, feel free to ask me. The fandom’s tag results may be small but the fics be mighty!

Unwilling to address: I don’t do non-con. The songs we choose can follow an explicit plot but please know that I won’t read explicit sexual fic. If you tell me the pairing and mood (angry, sad, happy, last hurrah, drunken hook up) I’ll be happy to find you songs for that bit. I don’t read RPF fic, incest, or age gaps more than 8-10+ years. Examples of fandoms I will read that “break” these rules are canon immortals kind thing or the kinda squinty incest maybe issue, i.e.: Buffy, Angel, Twilight, Chronicles of Nick, and Shadowhunters. If you’re not sure, just ask.

Notes: I have made three playlists for fic which are all available for you to check out on my ao3! Please be aware that if you want me to read your fic while making the playlist I won’t be actually beta-ing and it has to be under 10k words (with some wiggle room of course). Over 10k I’m happy to chat about the fic via chapter summaries and convo with you to make the playlist. While making a playlist, I cannot commit to reading over 10k and make deadlines, sorry. I’d read it once the playlist is done though!

Length/scope: Less than 5k words

Especially interested in: Shadowhunters: canon, not canon, poly, just all of it. I’m just starting to deviate from canon in my own works, but I’m open to podfic-ing any non-canon relationships. I’m more focused on the canon relationships in the Hunger Games books and the prequel. For original fic, I’m open to any world or modern setting you’ve made with any pairings! If you’re unsure, feel free to ask. In general, I love reading/exploring how romantic and non-romantic relationships can be so detailed and how characters deal/think/feel about their situations. I’m up for more serious storylines or just fun other fluffy or silly times. I go up to M rating because swearing, drinking, smoking, not too heavy making out (regular teen life) and fighting/violence like (see chosen fandoms lol), various forms of death, and other mental health topics are welcome. Check out my ao3 (DarayFlair) if you want to get an idea of my limits and fun audio things I like doing (e.g. The Apples Ate the Cheese on my ao3).

Unwilling to address: I don’t do explicit sexual things. Some kissing that fades to black kind of YA situations only please. I’m not into non-con situations at all either. Larger questionable age gaps wig me out too like 8-10+ years unless it’s immortal Shadowhunters, Twilight, or Buffy kind of situations where the ages kind of “match”. I’m cool with the confused kinda sketchy incest (Shadowhunters) but please no actual incest. If you’re unsure, feel free to ask!

Notes: I have a female voice. Kind of higher pitched. I only speak English, but can learn to pronounce fandom things like if your world has a made up word (parabatai lol). I do sound things for a living but it’s also my passion so there’s very little that I can’t figure out how to do. Ex: I have been known to pitch shift my voice for more characters when there’s so many in a scene lol I can’t really do accents (have never really tried) but I’ve came up with not accents or other voices for some immortals or berries to be talking lol I love adding sound effects into a story (e.g. Vampire Academy audiobooks when Rose is yeeted to Lissa's head or in my own podfic with HarkaSun I made portal sound effects) Super fun! Giving chapters or the one shot an audiobook intro/outro music and credits feel is also fun for me. I am not much of a composer though so the music is whatever clip of song you’d like or I can help track one down for you (I listen to music for a living). I just love working with sounds and wanna make more words accessible and an experience for everyone. If you have any questions you can find me through my email!
