Especially interested in: I’m particularly interested in queerness and playing with gender in a queer way, ghost stories, urban fantasy/fantasy elements, speculative fiction elements or AUs, weird/unconventional AUs, baseball AUs, trope subversion, POC players, and players in their late 20s and 30s.

Unwilling to address: I will not write a player who has been credibly accused or convicted of sexual assault or domestic violence. I will not write or include the following players: Ian Cole, Casey DeSmith, Drew Doughty, Evander Kane, Patrick Kane, Logan Mailloux, Mike Riberio, Semyon Varlamov, Jake Virtanen, Slava Voynov, or Austin Watson. Hockey Canada’s 2018 WJC team is a thorny consideration and my limits are murkier; please reach out prior to bidding if you’re interested in me writing a player on that roster and we can discuss.

I additionally will not write cancer narratives, adult-minor relationships, hurt no comfort/unhappy endings, terminal illness, cishet m/f, reader insert, explicit sexual content between minors, fic in which WAGs play a prominent role, and Nathan MacKinnon/Cale Makar as an endgame pairing. I will not portray Tony DeAngelo or Jordan Binnington in a positive light.

Notes: This is an offer for any NHL team or player provided they do not fall under my unwilling to address! If you request someone or a team extremely outside of my frame of reference, I may ask you to info dump about them so I have some search terms to work with. I love learning about other people’s special guys and would love to write about yours. I am most easily prepared to write Devils, Avalanche, Rangers, Sharks, Leafs, Stars, and Kraken, but Google exists, I know many nerds in hockey fandom who love to evangelize, and I’m always up for the challenge of a new team.

I will also write the San Jose Barracuda. If you are interested in any other non-NHL team or player, please talk to me before bidding.

The offer is for a 5k-10k fic. For every $10 over a $90 bid, I will add 1k words to an initial 10k, up to a 15k word count total. (It may very well be longer! But I am only promising up to 15k.)
